Happy Birthday National Guard!
Today we celebrate the 381st Birthday of the National Guard. The National Guard has been serving and protecting our fellow citizens since 1636. From “alert and muster” in 1637, to the creation of the “Minuteman” in 1645 as our nation’s first “rapid response force,” and through every major conflict in our history, we have relied on, and continue to rely on, the service of our National Guard. Always Ready…Always There! Check out Military.com to find out more about the National Guard.
